GALAAD is a Progressive rock band coming from Romandy (Switzerland), led by the charismatic singer Pierre-Yves THEURILLAT. A true concept-album, "Premier Février" (1992) delivers a music both poetic and lyrical, sung in French and that can be placed in the same category as the best ANGE. Suggestive and melodramatic, vocal lines magnify Gianni GIARDIELLO's expressive keyboards and Sébastien FROIDEVAUX' energic guitar. Less influenced by ANGE, "Vae Victis" (1995) was the occasion for the band to take a heavier musical orientation, much more dynamic and much more of its time. The listened is still able to appreciate vocals at the forefront. Not to be missed !
